Abstract

Vehicles are constantly being developed to provide a comfortable means of transportation for people. This article is written for a study of suspension systems with introducing an overview of the components that make up the system, background theory and methods of studying suspension systems using magnetic damping presented and analyze the nature of magnetic field dampers. The suspension system is always focused on research and development to bring good handling, driving quality to the car. The suspension is intended to strengthen these elements using a weak linkage between the wheel and the body and the shock absorbers. Going from passive suspension with magnetic damping to active suspension systems makes today's cars more comfortable. The discussion as well as the development direction of this system revolves around the suspension model based on the characteristics of elastic between the vehicle and the road surface control by actuator magnetic force according to the distance signal between the body car and road surface. This paper will present a study on a suspension system that uses controlled magnetic damping to improve a car's comfort and grip simultaneously.
